Grade 4 - African American History

During this unit of study, the students will identify famous African Americans and their contributions to history. They will analyze several timelines and construct a timeline. Students will read biographies and choose one on which to take notes. Using organized notes, they will write a biographical article, interpreting how these contributions are making a difference to African Americans today.
